John Lewis Exeter came to us with an exciting project! They were after the perfect 8ft by 6ft structure to host Santa's grotto!
We saw an opportunity to create something truly special, so we decided to craft one of our most popular sheds, a Pent Roof Summer House, for this unique purpose. This choice not only provided the required space but also offered a charming aesthetic that would complement the festive atmosphere of Santa's Grotto.
Before diving into the construction, our talented team took a site visit to the John Lewis store. This was a crucial step to assess the available space and understand how the shed could be seamlessly integrated into the Grotto experience.
By physically inspecting the location, we were able to envision how the shed would fit in with the surrounding decorations and ensure it met John Lewis' expectations.
The collaboration between John Lewis and ourselves was not just about construction but also about supporting a business on the Exeter high street. John Lewis not only received a custom-built structure but also contributed to the local economy, showcasing the community spirit that makes the holiday season special.
Our process involved manufacturing the shed in our workshop and then assembling it on-site. This approach allowed for precise construction and minimised disruption to the store's daily operations during the build.
